Disney Parks Mobile Magic app now available for iPhone

This Post Is Sponsord By Review Trackers Making it easy to Track your Online Reviews.

Today Disney has announced a highly-anticipated expansion of its mobile app!!
Disney Parks first debuted the app called Mobile Magic in 2009, providing Verizon users with access to theme park wait times, show times, Fastpass return times and availability, and character information.
Disney Parks has finally released Mobile Magic for iPhones everywhere.
The app covers theme parks in the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, including Downtown Disney, Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon.

Each area in the app offers helpful information for better navigating Disney’s resorts. Inside theme parks, GPS-enabled maps allow visitors to view locations of attractions with photos, descriptions, height requirements, and even access official wait times to ride or see a show. Character greeting times are also accessible along with whether or not Fastpasses are still being distributed for an attraction.

Guests can also browse and make dining reservations from the Mobile Magic app.

Mobile Magic was previously exclusive to Verizon and Disney Parks has now offered Verizon users a few “premium” features including videos, a “Pirates” trivia game, Disney Character Puzzle, and Disney Character Quiz.

Though Mobile Magic is now free for iPhone users to download and enjoy!

    Thanks Mr.DisneyFan :]

Walt Disney World closing Snow White's Scary Adventures in May.

Snow White’s Scary Adventures at Walt Disney World Resort will be permanently closing on June 1, 2012 to make way for Princess Fairytale Hall, a new home for the Disney Princesses to meet and greet with guests.

Guests wanting to say goodbye to the classic dark ride will have their last chance on Thursday, May 31, 2012, the attraction’s last day of operation.

And while it will be exciting to watch the Magic Kingdom’s biggest ever expansion finally begin to be unveiled piece by piece, it will be bittersweet as a classic Fantasyland attraction is shuttered for good, with May 31 offering guests one last chance to give it a goodbye kiss!!

A Comment From the Inside The Magic's Post Reads:

I just don´t get it. This is a very (technicaly) simpel attraction. Not like Jaws that was hard to maintain with the water and all. And Snow White is insanly popular. Now they close it and open a coaster ride with the Snow White movie theme that a lot of little kids can´t ride and will not push as many people trough it in a day as this classic ride did.
Only to make way for a meet and great that can be done outside as done for years. No change to get a glimps of one of the princesses in the ´wild´ but locked away and controled to a more and more spontanity killing Disney. So sad how this is going.

Disneyland launches Minnie’s Fly Girls Charter Airline show at Disney California Adventure

A new show debuted at the Disneyland Resort this weekend featuring twenty song-and-dance filled minutes featuring flight-themed songs from decades past. Minnie’s Fly Girls Charter Airline stars a group of flight attendants, an air traffic controller, and Minnie Mouse herself, taking place on a fairly nondescript stage within the Condor Flats area of the Disney California Adventure theme park.
The show includes popular hits sung live from the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s, such as “Come Fly with Me,”
“Straighten up and Fly Right” “Brazil,” “I Love Paris,” “Lady of Spain,” and a Disney “Flying Medley” featuring familiar songs from Mary Poppins, Dumbo, and Peter Pan. Despite the show’s name, Minnie only appears at the tail end of the performance, landing just in time for the final number, posing with guests in a meet-and-greet afterward. But she steals the show, with her eyelids fluttering and lips moving - a first for Minnie at the Disneyland Resort!!
Unfortunately for those wanting to have a conversation with her, Minnie doesn’t talk with guests after the show, saving her voice for each musical number. You can see Minnie’s Fly Girls Charter Airline now at Disney California Adventure, performed several times daily - or you can watch the full show video below!

American Idol Experience marks 3 years at Walt Disney World

The American Idol Experience opened just over three years ago at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, on Feb. 12, 2009, with a star-studded premiere night. Just over three years later, the guest performance-based attraction continues to be updated while the television series has undergone major changes.

The most recent update is the addition of 14 new songs now available for guests to sing, including two from past “American Idol” winners, each chosen from recommendations by guests and Cast Members:

“Lean On Me” – Bill Withers
“Something To Talk About” – Bonnie Raitt
    “Heartbreaker” – Pat Benatar
“Just Haven’t Met You Yet” – Michael Bublé
“Use Somebody” – Kings of Leon
     “Gone” – Scotty McCreery
“Before He Cheats” – Carrie Underwood
“Chicken Fried” – Zac Brown Band
“Love Story, The Story of Us” – Taylor Swift
“My Kinda Party” – Jason Aldean
    “Stuck Like Glue” – Sugarland
“Dock of the Bay” – Otis Redding
    “Get Here” – Oleta Adams
“I Can Only Imagine” – MercyMe

When the American Idol Experience debuted, the mega-popular TV show was still holding onto its tried-and-true formula, featuring a flurry of singing contestants, good and bad, appearing before the three-judge panel of Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson. But in recent seasons, two of these original stars have moved on, replaced by Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.

And since the American Idol Experience opened three years ago, all the show’s winners have shouted “I’m goin’ to Disney World!” and done just that, including Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze, and Scotty McCreery. Paula Abdul also visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios just yesterday for a Valentine’s Day visit.

But while she did meet with Minnie Mouse and drop in on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, there’s no indication that Abdul visited the Disney version of her former TV home at the American Idol Experience yesterday.
